About LongMynd Archers

Long Mynd Archers is an archery club based at Church Stretton, Shropshire, England. Nestled in the outstanding beauty of the Shropshire Hills, we specialize in target archery and cater for recurve, compound and longbows. We have a thriving junior section as well as a senior section.

We are proud to currently have 6 Archery GB accredited coaches at various levels, ensuring we can meet the coaching needs of everybody from beginner through to international archer. All Archery GB accredited coaches are enhanced DBS (Formally CRB) checked.
Long Mynd Archers is affiliated to the Shropshire Archery Society, the West Midlands Archery Society and Archery GB.

Venue Outdoors

Our outdoor venue is available to members to shoot daily from May - October, with a few exceptions when it is being used to host tournaments.

We have a large club house with a kitchen c/w running water, toilets, and an equipment maintenance area.

Venue Indoors

Indoor shooting is now possible at our venue at the village of Eaton close to Church Stretton. Shooting times at Eaton are Tuesdays, Thursdays (18.30rs until 20.30hrs) and Sundays (16.30 until 19.30hrs).

Shooting 70m is now possible.

Layered foam bosses.

Four archers per boss. Two details. Arrows will be shot in ends of 6 in 4 minutes. Recurve 122cm face. Barebow 122cm face, Compound 80cm face 10 to 5 zone Scoring

Equipment inspection:

Equipment inspection will take place at the judge’s tent from 08.00

Session B start time is dependent upon the finish time of the morning session but will not be before stated start time.

Record Status shoots are liable to drug testing, all competitors approached to give samples must comply. A refusal will be treated as a positive result. Juniors must have a parent or guardian sign the entry form to signify consent to their child being tested ifapproached.

All entrants must be members of an ArcheryGB.oraW.A. associated organisation.Membershipcards maybe askedfor at registration.

We will accept no liability for any loss or damage to any equipment during the Tournament for any reason.
